Ministry with Persons with Disabilities

The mission of the Ministry with Persons with Disabilities is to help each parish keep all parishioners actively involved in parish life regardless of type, severity or age of onset of a disability.

Disability is a natural part of the human condition. Most of us will experience some type of disabling condition in our lifetime.


Recognizing that individuals with disabilities have a claim to our respect because they are persons, because they share in the one redemption of Christ, and because they contribute to our society by their activity within it, the Church must become an advocate for and with them.

NAMI Peer-to-Peer Class Beginning April 20

Are you living with a serious mental illness?

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is offering a free 10 session course for adults living with mental illness. This course is taught by trained Peer Mentors living in recovery themselves. Classes will take place at the College Hill United Methodist Church (2930 E. 1st Street North, Wichita 67214) on Thursdays from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. beginning April 20 and ending on June 29. Registration is required. Class size is limited to 15 people.

Holy Family Camp 2017 Applications Available!

The 28th Annual Holy Family Camp will be June 12-16, 2017! Applications are available to download through the links below.

The deadline to submit application forms for campers is March 24 and for volunteers is March 30.
